At the end of each academic year, the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences host the Digital Shark Expo, an event for the best student projects
of the year to be presented and demonstrated, engaging talks from academics and guest speakers, networking opportunities, and more!
In my first year at the university, I was given the opportunity to present Dauntless Depths
at the Digital Shark Expo 2023. I was incredibly proud of this amazing chance, as the end of year shows were usually just for final year students to showcase
their Final Year Projects, but my hard work in first year had led me here!

After second year, the Digital Shark Expo 2024 came around and I presented two of my projects from the year! Both my group project So You're Tellin' Me?
and my Unreal Engine 5 game Temporus were nominated for showcasing! They gained a great amount of traction, with visitors thoroughly enjoying cooking
shrimp fried rice with our custom Aurdino controller, and a senior member of staff telling me off for "messing around" after mistaking Temporus for a shipped product while I
showed it off!
Towards the end of my final year, I had the opportunity to present FIVE of my final year projects at the Digital Shark Expo 2025. My Final Year Individual Project
Echoes Act and Final Year Group Project Gone Fishin' were two of my best projects, with my
Shader Portfolio, VR pirate game Blackbeard's Cannon Clash and 1-week game jam game
Murphy's Gift Delivery Service being showcased alongside them, this event was seriously an amazing chance for me to show off what I'm capable of!
